Are You a Giver or a Taker?
Our Price:$6.97CAD         »More info...     »     »Add to Wish List
Giving and taking tends to be more than an activity of life. Everyone chooses whether he or she will be a giver or a taker as an attribute of life. Untrained children tend to be takers instead of givers. The problem with takers is that they take until they take away the very relationship that is keeping them alive. Takers often wind up lonely and dont understand why. Takers are seldom truly happy or grateful. Of the 10 lepers that were healed by Jesus only one returned to give thanks. Why? They had spent their lives as takers and knew nothing else. Takers have a focus that is an un-biblical life focus that perverts their thinking into a way of thinking that is honestly dangerous. Haman had virtually unlimited power, money, and possessions, yet he was unhappy because he couldn't have one other thing he really wanted. He wound up hanging from his own gallows. This important message is a challenge to youth and their parents to know the joy that comes from being a giver instead of a taker...

Breaking Family Curses

Exodus 34:7 teaches that there will be a propensity toward either righteousness or sin being passed down from generation to generation. In different areas of life, people are blessed and do well because of Godly family influences. In other areas they struggle because of evil family influences. Chains of bitterness, dishonesty, selfishness, pride, divorce, immorality, laziness, or rebellion pass down from grandfather to father to son to grandson, etc. Loyalty, faithfulness, kindness, honesty, joy, character, etc. also pass down! King Asa saw a curse of bitterness, stubbornness, rebellion, and idolatry in his family lineage and took desperate steps to break the curse and begin a lineage of blessings! "We shared your video with our family and our parents over Christmas and they were thrilled. Afterward, we knelt around the coffee table and Grandpa prayed for curses to stop and for God to bless our families. Tears of great joy filled our lives!" (59 minutes)

How to Use Acceptance to Build Others

The harshest language possible from the soul of one person to the soul of another person is the language of acceptance. Children who get unconditional acceptance at home aren't nearly as likely to ruin their lives by looking for it elsewhere. Christians should seek to give acceptance to everyone whom God brings across their paths. A smile is a key tool that communicates acceptance. Small talk and proper, friendly touches also say, "I care about you. I accept you." Christians who reject others usually do so because they haven't learned to distinguish between acceptance and approval. Jesus didn't approve of the Samaritan woman having five husbands, but He accepted her as a woman who needed His help.

The Influence of Older Children on Young Ones

Dr. Davis recommends this video as his most important message for entire families to watch together. The main reason the Prodigal Son was a rebel was because he was rejected by his older brother. Most rebels in the Bible and in history were not 2nd borns, but 1st borns. When 2nd borns got into trouble, it was usually because they were following their older siblings. It is no quirk of nature that 1st borns are often very strong willed. God wanted that strong will turned in the right direction so that the influence of the parents and the 1st born cause the 2nd born to move in the right direction; then the influence of the parents, 1st born, and 2nd born move the 3rd born in the right direction, etc. There are 10 key principles from III John that older children should apply in relation to younger children which will bring joy to their own hearts as well as sweet harmony to their entire family. This message ends with three moving illustrations of the powerful influence of older children on...

The Kingdom of Your Influence
Our Price:$6.97CAD         »More info...     »     »Add to Wish List
Interestingly, the word "influence" as we use it is not even found in the Scriptures. The word God uses is "rule." A person's influence, then, is the kingdom over which he rules. Both Godly and ungodly people are given areas to rule, and the extent of a person's rule is measured out to him by God. Since it is impossible for someone to simply walk away from his area of influence, parents, older siblings, and grandparents must all be very careful to make sure their influence is powerfully positive rather than negative. "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world." Ladies also must be careful because of the powerful influence they have over men. For those of us being influenced, we must be careful to guard ourselves against wrong influences, especially from good sources. We should also plan our lives so as to continue our influences after we are gone.

What God Expects From a 20 Year Old

Of the 262 times the number 20 occurs in the Bible, 28 of those refer to men age 20 and up. The day that a young man turns 20, he crosses a line of demarcation drawn by God Himself. He immediately ceases to be a boy and becomes a man directly responsible and accountable to God. He then has a responsibility to check what his parents want him to do, not only in relation to clearly stated Biblical truth, but also in relation to what he senses in his spirit God is directing him to do. If any Israelite man at Kadesh Barnea 20 and above, regardless what his parents said, had chosen to obey God, he would have lived. None did. All 600,000 of them died. Parents' word at any age is to be admired, honored, and respected, anything but disdained. But a 20 year old is as directly accountable to God at 20 as he will be at 60. This message discusses the implications of the significance of this truth for parents and single men and women over 20 whether still at home or not.

What to Expect from a 12 Year Old

The reason parents have problems with some teens is because those teens have a deficiency in their earlier character development. A study of Luke 2 shows that Jesus, by age 12, had developed 7 CHARACTER QUALITIES necessary for true maturity. This video not only shows parents the proper goals for their children, but has also provided motivation for youth to reach for those goals! "My 14-year-old daughter watched this video and then came and asked me to hold her accountable to develop the character qualities she was lacking. We were thrilled!" "Our family watched the '12 year old' video. The next evening our 9-year-old son got up after dinner and started clearing the table without being asked. When we asked why, he said, 'I found out from Dr. Davis that I'm supposed to be responsible by age 12. I thought I may as well begin working on it now!'"

Why Satan Wants the 1st Born
Our Price:$6.97CAD         »More info...     »     »Add to Wish List
A quick perusal of the Scriptures will demonstrate clearly and powerfully that God wanted all the 1st things- the 1st born sheep, donkey, or ox; the 1st of the crops, fruits, and juices; the 1st of any money; the 1st day of the week; the 1st year of marriage; and the 1st born child or son. It is also clear that SATAN WANTS WHAT GOD WANTS. Those who understand the Bible and history understand that this especially applies to the 1st born child or son. Do you know why Pastors and Christian leaders have three times as much difficulty training their 1st borns? Do you know the consequences of not giving God the 1st things? Do you know the blessings 1st borns may expect who give their lives to God? Entire families should watch this video, but especially parents and their 1st born children.
