Goals

Methods
The activities presented in Reading Detective Beginning level is organized into single-skill units with a concluding mixed-skills unit and provides an introductory lesson for each skill. Students read and analyze stories and then answer multiple-choice and short response questions, citing sentence level evidence that supports their answers. The final unit includes mixed skills activities for additional practice and reinforcement. Stories include literature excerpts, original fiction, and nonfiction topics.
