The Teacher Book is a copy of the student workbook with all the answers filled in. It also contains some additional teaching and grading ideas.

While the teacher book is not vital at this level, it is very helpful. There is quite a lot of proof-reading and labeling parts of speech so if you are not strong on these concepts yourself, the teacher book will help you a lot. There are advantages to having it, which include:
• Time savings since all the correct answers are provided
• Children can be trained to mark their own work
• Older children can mark the work of younger ones
• Children, who think they are always right but are not, can be shown by the publisher of the curriculum, not just the parent, the correct answers.
• Provides scoring tips for assigning grades/marks.
