After completing the daily lesson in Phonics Lessons for Flashcards 32-66, use the Phonics Workbook Instructions & Answer Key: Level C:1 to help your student complete the workbook assignment. Children will practice manuscript penmanship in Level C:1 only. They will read and spell one-syllable words containing ending consonant blends, consonant digraphs, and consonant blends with two or three initial consonants. They will be introduced to beginning grammar---nouns, verbs, and pronouns---as an aid to reading comprehension. However, in contrast to Level B:2, they will now add simple written grammar exercises.
